Part of In Another Light at Croft Castle and Parkland

One of the key ways of achieving wellbeing is learning. The appreciation of art is one of the greatest life enhancers people have and we at Meadow Arts take our role in this seriously.  We work with adults in the following ways:

Interpretation – All our exhibitions will have clear interpretation to allow for appreciation. Please come to one of our Engagement Days for a special look round.

Learning – Come along to one of our guest lecture series taking place across the region and meet professional artists and find out about their influences and processes.  Sessions involves lively Question and Answer sessions. Please check our Events pages for more details.

Workshops & Events - Our projects are all different and we often include workshops and creative sessions that adults can enjoy. Keep an eye on our Events pages to find out more.

Families and Communities

Families are one of the key audience groups we want to inspire. We know how important creating art is in bringing real achievement to the lives of children. We believe that all children and adults are artists, some may have some natural ability but the love of art is something that can really bond family groups and communities. We work with families and communities in the following ways:

Workshops & Events – Please keep a close eye on our Events pages and see the fun and interesting ways we have for your family and friends to take part! We use all sorts of art forms to interact with our visual art exhibitions and we promise to do our best to make our events as memorable as possible. We do everything from hands-on making workshops and performances to mini-festivals and events.

Interpretation – Interpretation is how we explain our projects to you. We try to make our signage full of interesting information about the artists and their work. All of our exhibitions and projects are accessible to as many people as possible and contain fun things for you and your children to do, as well as more in-depth information for those who like to learn more.
