Whether it is exciting live events, or bespoke school projects, Meadow Arts brings artists and the public together to explore art and ideas.

We have commissioned Faye Claridge to alter the appearance of the famous Iron Bridge at Ironbridge Gorge; Susie MacMurray has created a huge temporary sculpture at Hereford College of Arts; The House of Fairy Tales brought The Time Traveller's Ironbridge Quest to Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron; Sound Book Project made music with books and many more artist led projects.

Through its Learning programme, Meadow Arts Inspires, Meadow Arts works with schools and artists to create education projects that are tailored to the needs of each school; teaching new skills to pupils and teachers while exploring creativity and ideas. Recent projects have included the whole of Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge Primary School creating artworks and curating their own exhibition and a Young Curator project at Bishop Perowne secondary school.

Meadow Arts also supports Higher Education students and graduates through a range of initiatives with partner organisations, including the Meadow Arts Prize, New Art West Midlands and Garage Open Lecture Series.

Meadow Arts is an Arts Award Supporter, with a range of opportunities available to young people in and out of school to work towards their Arts Award at all different levels.

Our programmes are developed and delivered in conjunction with key regional partners and host venues and are led by experienced creative practitioners.
