In Another Light: Opening Night

Sat 1st November 2014

This autumn and winter, National Trust and Meadow Arts will illuminate Croft Castle and Parkland with a new kind of contemporary art exhibitionIn Another Light.

On Saturday 1st November, visitors can come along to Croft Castle, near Leominster in Herefordshire, for an exciting chance to see the place lit up with artworks after dark for the exhibition’s opening night.

The National Trust owned castle is normally closed once it gets dark, but artists and performers will be on hand to 'shine a light' on Croft's hidden depths, revealing its dense and age-old history as you have never seen it before.

Newly commissioned contemporary artworks by exciting upcoming and established artists will be displayed at Croft for the In Another Light exhibition.

Opening night features breathtaking performances from Pyrodisiacs, whose dynamic and highly skilled shows are based on spinning, acro, dance and martial arts.

Visitors can expect some surprises from a series of light-artworks and live events during the dark evenings over the winter months. Visit In Another Light for more details about the exhibition and go to www.nationaltrust.org.uk/croft-castle for times and prices.
