£5 per participant: click here to book

Join artist Fliss O’Neill at the Museum of Royal Worcester for a family drawing and watercolour workshop inspired by Meadow Arts exhibition The Precious Clay. Take your inspiration from observing simple ceramic forms as a theme for learning drawing and watercolour techniques.

You will begin by learning how to draw forms using techniques originated by Betty Edwards and her book, “Drawing on the right side of the brain.” Fliss will give you simple instructions on how to use watercolours and brusho inks to add colour and decoration to drawings. You can build up layers, mix colours and make random patterns on your artwork using salt, as well as using lace, feathers and other objects to make soft prints.
