Artist's Talk: Heather Morison

6 March 5 pm

The Glass Room, The Hive

International artists Heather & Ivan Morison have revealed their new work for The Hive in Worcester, The Long Afternoon of Earth; the culmination of a year-long residency, working with the library’s readers and students from the University of Worcester, in a project commissioned by Meadow Arts. Heather will be at The Hive on 6 March to discuss the residency and the artistic process in a free talk.

The artists have created a miniature forest of sculptural vessels containing mature Bonsai trees that contribute a unique sense of calm to reading spaces within the cutting-edge library, complementing the architecture of the building and conveying a sense of the varied environments in which the act of reading occurs for different people.

The talk takes place in the Glass Room at The Hive and will involve a discussion within the session.
