Nathaniel Pitt

Nathaniel Pitt was born in Wordsley, part of the Black Country; he lives and works in Worcester, UK. Pitt completed his artist training at Falmouth School of Art 1997 and MFA at Wolverhampton University 2009. He has undertaken artist's residencies in Europe and America. Pitt's work has been shown and performed in multiple exhibitions in the UK and internationally.

In addition to being an artist, Nathaniel Pitt is a gallerist: he is the founder and director of Division of Labour and PITT projects. Recent curatorial projects have included Plane Materials, at Brighton Photography Biennale, Dymaxion Playground; a public art project by Gavin Wade. Est 1690.; Newspaper/art commission with Robert Barry. ARTIST ROOMS: Joseph Beuys; a performance programme with Mikhail Karikis. Pitt was recently awarded a curating bursary working with the new Library of Birmingham researching the relationship between sculpture and photography.
