David Ogle

David Ogle's work incorporates drawing, sculpture, installation and new media: Ogle often works in the ‘grey area’ between different mediums, using recurring visual motifs across the varied disciplines. His work aims to disrupt our expectations of these boundaries, incorporating contrasting elements, combined with simplicity and material presence, the work provides a physical, and often-illusionary, confrontation in real-space.

In 2012 David Ogle was the winner of the Royal Society of British Sculptors Sculpture Shock prize, and he was selected for the Catlin Art Prize in 2013. Ogle has a PhD from the University of Liverpool and his work has been widely exhibited in the UK, Copenhagen and Berlin. David Ogle is supported by Mark Devereux Projects.
